Lizzy’s the name, fitness is the game. As an immigrant and daughter of immigrants, sports became my escape early on. Though I majored in fine arts, I found myself drawn back to fitness in college. At 18, I stepped into a gym and felt instantly at home—it became my outlet after long days of painting. My journey hasn’t been perfect. I made mistakes, faced injuries, and learned the hard way, growing from 98lbs to my strongest at 140lbs. It's been nonlinear, but that’s what makes it exciting. I've coached people as young as 13 years old to 86 years young, always emphasizing pain-free movement, solid technique, confidence, and community. I had an injury going in and was having trouble doing basic movements, but Lizzy helped me correct my form and gain significant strength back in a way I'm positive I wouldn't have been able to do without her help. She paid close attention to every movement in order to understand what was happening and gave me extremely targeted cues that made all of the difference (and that were not intuitive to me at all -- I'm seriously *so* impressed with how knowledgeable and capable she is). Even beyond the injury, she's helped me improve my form considerably. There are movements that previously caused me pain that now don't, and others that I only realized I was doing ineffectively when, after doing it correctly, I could feel the "right" muscle group working for the first time.
