Hybrid Conditioning (Tuesday 7am + Saturday 9am)

Class Description

Hybrid Endurance sessions combine running, air resistance cardio machines, and functional strength components to take your metabolic conditioning and aerobic endurance to another level.

We program workouts intentionally to work with the strength programming in our other programs. Yes - you can improve your performance as an endurance athlete without sacrificing your strength gains!

 

What to expect


Our Hybrid Endurance sessions follow a clear structure that builds skill, strength, and endurance while keeping workouts engaging and scalable for all levels.

1. Intro
Your coach will walk you through the intent of the day’s workout—explaining how the strength and conditioning pieces connect to fitness race demands and overall hybrid fitness.

2. Warm-up
We start with targeted mobility, activation, and light cardio to prime your body for the day’s main focus. Warm-ups are efficient and intentional, designed to support running mechanics, strength, and performance under fatigue.

3. Strength/Skill
The first training block focuses on strength lifts or skill work that support key movements: squats, presses, pulls, sled push/pulls, or running form drills. Technique coaching ensures you’re building both capacity and efficiency.

4. Conditioning Circuit
The second block blends strength endurance and cardio in race-inspired formats (AMRAPs, EMOMs, or intervals) combining running and other aerobic exercises with functional stations like wall balls, dumbbells, kettlebells, and lunges. Every workout is scalable to your current fitness level.

5. Cool down & Connect
We finish with recovery-focused stretching and mobility work to bring your heart rate down, restore range of motion, and set you up for faster recovery—plus a moment to connect with your coach and community.

All StrongFit members receive access to hybrid conditioning classes, but we also offer drop ins at $30-35, a slightly lower rate than our StrongFit classes.

Hybrid Endurance sessions are capped at 8 people and rates range from $30-35 per session.

All of our members are given exclusive access to book open gym hours.
